In Joplin MO there is this GREAT place to get UBER moist smoked brisket that is AMAZING called Woodys smoke house. but thats like 2 hours away from LW Is there a decent place to get somked and bbqd meats around Leonard Wood? :) 

The only BBQ place around here is Sweetwater, but the Southern Spice Cafe has an amazing BBQ Pork sandwich, really moist with great bark. 

Sweetwater is NASTY!!!! There is a yummy place in springfield 

Lebanon has this little franchise place called Dickies. It is pretty good. 

Has anyone been to Bandana's in Osage Beach? They are opening one in Rolla, so I was wondering if it was any good.

Dickie's does have really good BBQ-they started in TX 

Love Bandana's. There is also Half Sauced in Osage Beach that is supposed to be pretty good. 

Bandanas is really good. We need to head back there soon. It has been awhile since we were there. 

Sweetwater BBQ is NOT nasty! They have an amazing sauce and their Spuds are my favorite! To each their own! 

There is also a place in Rolla called the Tater Patch. They have good food. You just have to get past the sports bar and smoking allowed thing. 

I like sweetwaters too.. :) but for the most part if I feel the real need for bbq, I fire up the grill.. or in the case of ribs, the crock pot. 

The one time I ate at sweetwater it tasted like the food had ben made a few days before and reheated. Needless to say i haven't been back.
Can't wait till Bandanas opens in Rolla.

i disagree i love sweetwater and bandanas alike. sweetwater is made with lots of love fresh daily weve been quite often. looooveeee it
